"HI Jane" is short for "Hawaii Jane." Me in round mirror sunglasses reflecting beautiful Hawaii! We just came back from there in September (2012). I am letting my hair grow out grey! Oh my!
This portrait was made using rose colored commercial print batiks fabrics from the online fabric store SewBatiks (see sewbatiks.com). It is not finished yet! Someone was in a hurry to see it - so I put it up. Made it in October right after the 2012 Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF)! I revised this quilt only slightly in May of 2015 by re painting the teeth and lips slightly and the hair. See the close-ups below:
