REALLY FUN!

            Our Winter Cruise!

From November 26th through December 3rd of 2016, we decided to cruise to Mexico AGAIN! Our Christmas Present!  This time, we went on the Ruby Princess.  It was our 18th cruise and our 10th with Princess.  This cruise was more of an experiment really…we were wondering if the winter seas were rougher?  Would cruising more than once a year be more relaxing?  Would we enjoy it as much as in the Spring?   All the answers were YES!

Our Wonderful Dinner Table for Two!

My favorite place is the dinning room, especially when they give us a table for the entire week!  Same waiters…great view!  My view, shown on the left, was looking directly out at the passing sea.  Even if someone sat at those tables, the view was still perfect all through dinner!

The Ship itself is beautiful.  Most Princess Ships look pretty much the same: a beautiful Atrium, surrounded by plenty of beautiful shops.

We even got off the ship this trip - imagine that!  But we didn’t go far this time.  There is plenty of shopping just there near the wharf!

Our favorite dinner surprise was the Ceasar Salads made table side for the two of us by the Assistant Chef!  A special service arranged by our wonderful waiters.  The salads were soooooooo good!  Amazing, the difference!  It must have been the special wine vinegar he poured from a tiny dark bottle.

When we are getting ready for dinner, we always try to get a photo of each other on the balcony with the beautiful ocean behind us.  Usually just before we leave to go down to dinner!

Leaving Cabo San Lucas

One of our favorites things to do just after dinner is to watch the Mariachis and all the people who dance to them.  It is very  different dancing than ballroom dancing, and one must become quite expert at it.  One of these days we are going to try to learn it.  It looks really fun!  We took two different videos, below, to show you this unusual style of dancing and the various ways all the different people dance to it!  Fabulous!
